Alena Vavilina

An award winning artist of Art Expo Malaysia 2018 , Alena Vavilina is  creating artworks and sculptures under the name of AV ART. Alena Vavilina has an academic art background from one of the prestigious Russian Art Universities. As soon as she graduated she decided to break the rules which she knew and started her own style, which is one of the hardest tasks in world of art. All her artworks are created in  mixed media style. She thinks layers of different media make painting or sculpture more interesting and it pushes the viewer to spend more time investigating every centimetre of the artwork. Her signature media is gold leaf and silver leaf, she is using it in almost every artwork or sculpture.

AV Art career has been developed incredibly fast and very soon she has been invited to the main Contemporary art events such as: Asia Contemporary Art Event in Hong Kong (2018), Art Expo Malaysia (2018), World Art Dubai (2018, 2019, 2020), Art Basel Miami (2016), Carrousel du Louvre in Paris (2018) and so on. Her artworks and sculptures have been represented in numerous solo and group exhibitions  in Art Galleries around the world, such as: Brussels (Belgium), Paris (France), Abu Dhabi and Dubai (UAE), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Skopje (Macedonia) and  Zurich (Switzerland). Moreover , AV Art is a member of Asian Art Association and  member of AISBL Art Espace in Brussels (Belgium).
